This auction is for the DOUBLE vinyl LP  -  THE JAM  -  SNAP ! - DOUBLE ALBUM + LIMITED EDITION 7" E.P. + INSERT and THE INNER SLEEVES. 1983 Polydor Ltd. (U.K.)  SNAP 1 (RECORD 1 815 538-1 & RECORDS 2 815 539-1).( Please see label close-ups for track listings etc.).   Stamped matrix numbers; RECORD ONE - SIDE ONE  =  SNAP 1 A//2  420 R A2 4,  SIDE TWO = SNAP 1 B//1  420 R A3 1,  RECORD TWO - SIDE ONE  =  S NAP 1 C//2  420 R with possibly a very feint A2 6,  SIDE TWO = SNAP 1 D//2  420 R 2 8       Please note -  I play all my records, both sides, to check for any defects, I will mention anything I notice in the condition report.  Listened using my mid-range Audio Technica ATLP 120 deck with an Ortofon cartridge.  PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE JAM RECORDS AND JAM / MOD OTHER STUFF..
Condition:  The gatefold picture sleeve for this DOUBLE album has a slight ripple to the top right corner of the back cover = excellent - condition.   The covers spine is clear and un-rubbed and there is NO record break-through to the edges.  The inner sleeves have a slight ripple to the top opening edges ( see my close-up picture), o/w  = excellent - condition and again have NO record break-through damage.  The insert has some creases, = very good +.  I have played both sides of each LP for this DOUBLE album and they sound / play great.  The labels = excellent.  BOTH of the vinyl LP's have some light hairline scratches / marks, o/w overall the LP's  = excellent - to excellent condition.  Overall a great, enjoyable listen, with NO clicks, sticks or jumps.  The 7" E.P. SINGLE,  the cover = excellent, visually, the vinyl has some light marks / scratches, overall = very good +, plays great, with only an occasional tiny crackle detected.. 
Where appropriate, the record will be taken out of its picture or company sleeve and put into a new plain sleeve to prevent record breakthrough damage to the original sleeve whilst in transit. The item will then be put into a new Covers 33  400g poly protective cover to keep it safe. All my records are sent out in a strong cardboard package marked '' vinyl records - please do not bend '' + '' fragile ''.   When grading my records I use the Record Collector Magazines grading guide: Mint = Brand new condition.  Excellent = The record will show some signs of being played, but very little lessening in sound quality. The cover etc. may have slight wear or creases. Very good = The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major sound deterioration, despite noticeable surface marks / light scratches.  The cover would have normal wear and tear - no major defects unless mentioned. Each description might be tweaked with a  + or - .  I play all my records and will mention anything noticeable.
