Description
Available here is a 12" vinyl LP - Jamaican Memories, which features reggae, ska and rocksteady music by various artists. A UK 1st pressing, it was issued by Blue Cat Records in 1968 and has the catalogue number BCL1.
Identifiers - The record bears the following 1st pressing marks …
Matrix / Runout - Side A - Stamped - BCL+A1
Matrix / Runout - Side B - Stamped - BCL+B1
Vinyl Condition - Very Good - The record is quite bright and clean with a few minor surface marks but no worrying scratches. Having listened to both sides, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking but the odd click may be heard. Background crackle/noise is present at times, variable in audibility but never excessive.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Excellent- - Original front laminated flipback cover. Minor signs of wear are present, including about an inch of rubbing along the bottom edge. Plain white inner sleeve is comparable.
Something of a rarity and a very collectible record, the following artists and tracks appear …
A1 - The Clarendonians - Take It Or Leave It
A2 - Roy Richards - Jamaican Memories
A3 - Leyroy Reid - The Fiddler
A4 - The Rudies - Orange Street
A5 - The Beacons - Taking Another Girl

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.
I will accept returns on any item which is not as described and refund all costs upon safe receipt.
See "Me" for further general despatch information.
