Description
Massive northern soul 45 single featuring JAMES BARNETT on FAME, from 1965. Titles are “KEEP ON TALKING” and “Take a Good Look.”
This is a stock copy, original pressing, red label with black print. Catalog number is Fame 1001.
Condition is fair. Still displays most of the original gloss. However, the record was not handled with care and so there are quite a few scuffs and several small, rather heavy marks in the early portion of the record. As a result, the first 45 seconds are rather noisy, after which it quiets down and the remainder is enjoyable both for listening and dancing.
I have provided a sound clip of the entire side from this actual record (see below) so you can hear exactly how it sounds. There are no skips, and overall the fidelity is pretty good. I do not use any noise reduction software in my sound clips, so you needn’t worry about any surprises. This is a great tune which exemplifies northern soul at its finest.
