JAMES BROWN It's a Man's World **orig soul Lp SHRINK
James Brown ~ It's a Man's Man's Man's World (King Records) USA
catalog # 985
Here for your consideration is an original mono pressing of this classic James Brown lp. These were originally issued with a beautifully designed & embossed jacket. Because of the fragile nature of the design of this jacket ...they were quick to wear even in a well cared for collection. Fortunately, the owner left the shrink on this copy ...preserving it's beauty for many years to come.
The record looks rarely played, with only few paper sleeve type angel-hairs. However, there is a bit of paper sleeve rash present in the form of little grey spots. I did sample through much of the lp, and it plays very nice ...probably as it did new. As I mentioned ...The lp looks as if it were rarely played, or handled.
The jacket is super bright ...looks nearly new. It is still in it's factory shrink. It sould be noted that a small piece of shrink is torn away at both the right top & bottom corners, however the jacket has not suffered for it. Finally, there is a tiny staple in the jacket from where the original retail price tag was ...at the top left corner (please see supersized photo). It's pretty obscured for the busy jacket, and of course could be carefully removed should you wish.

High bidder can be sure that this lp will be well packed in a thick square edged record mailer, with the record seperated from it's jacket to prevent any seam-splitting in transit. (unless the record is still sealed) If it is still sealed, I will pack it snug to keep it from moving around. If you wish me to open it, please let me know.
