Description
A rare James Brown LP with this early cover. It was first released in 1958. This is the second pressing from 1961. This is an exceptional copy. 90% of the James Brown LPs from this era show up tattered. These LPs got played, and played hard. This one is a strong example. The owner, who bought this upon release and held it until this year, had a proclivity to put scotch tape around the seams and spine to protect themHe was very neat, but it's there. The cover is VG+ with some toning to the cover on the spine side and a soft crease on the front corner bottom right. The LP looks and plays NEAR MINT.
