Description

JAMES BROWN and his Famous Flames - 'TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE GONNA DO'. MONO. EMBER. EMB 3357 (1964).

Scarce first UK pressing (His UK Debut) on the textured EMBER labels. EX+/NEAR MINT sleeve. EX+++/NEAR MINT vinyl! This set is in beautiful overall condition. Very glossy heavy weight vinyl. Hardly ever seen compared to the London releases of the same period. I bought this from Kingston Collectors Record shop in 1991 for £40, so this is a bargain with the asking price of £24.99!
What's wrong with you all?

Super clean front laminated flipback sleeve - free from the usual damage and wear that affects this very hard to score JB record. The only 'flaw' is the original owners name neatly written in biro on the rear of the sleeve (see photo).

Very glossy vinyl, with only a couple of very slight marks which do not affect play. Original poly-lined inner sleeve with printed info on one side and '65 date indicator.  In this condition, very rare.  Graded accurately, honestly and thoroughly.  Most would grade this higher. It looks like it may have been played a few times at most.

The time has come for me to start selling off big chunks of my otherwise 'keeper' collection. Some of these records are incredibly hard to find in such superb condition. The records in my eBay listings are from my own personal record collection. I am not a record dealer. Some particular records I have bought two or three times over - just to get that special 'keeper' copy. These listings are the fruits of my collecting effort which spans over 25 years.

In the very rare event that you are disappointed, I will accept returns if items are not as described and issue a full refund (minus your return postage costs).

PayPal ONLY PLEASE. Items selling over £38.00 will be insured and sent by Special Delivery and/or Registered Post with insurance. £7.00 for UK, and £14.00 for Rest of the World.
If postage is significantly less than quoted I will refund any difference.

Regarding postage and shipping:  I am not Amazon.com.  I go to the post office once or possibly twice a week.  During the holidays it will be increasingly painful, so be patient.  "Priority mail" means it goes by air...it does not mean it goes out in the next hour.  I have never had a package lost and do not get complaints about packing - in fact my packing rates among the best on eBay. I use heavy duty cruciform mailers (usually doubled-up) and loads of parcel tape to ensure a strong package.

Please read my checkout instructions. Please wait for my invoice before paying, as postage to different global locations can vary. Full refund given (minus return postage) if item is not as described.

STRICTLY GRADED. (Play graded, and visually graded to Record Collector standards).

Any questions please email...

I have no need to use the words MEGA, ULTRA, or c**p on about how many of these LPs got trashed at parties. I try to avoid exhaustive usage of exclamation marks in my honest descriptions and I also avoid the over-use of CAPITAL letters (unless they are used for relevant emphasis to my auction description) and I do not wish to shout at my buyers. I know that you know about the records you wish to purchase. One other thing - I do not sell items which have had the opening edges of the cover trimmed by a guillotine or blade to make the covers appear in better condition. Some other sellers do this as a regular practice, and it's just not on.
