Description
JAMES MASON Rhythm Of Life - Chiaroscuro Records CR-189 1977 USA Original pressing in shrink wrap sleeve with original import sticker. With CR-189 A/B Matrix Numbers. Mastering credited to "Atlantic Studios D.K." Jazz Funk Classic LP Ex/VG++ Nice Original
Sleeve in Ex condition Conservatively graded. Still in smart shape. Sleeve still in shrink wrap with original import sticker. Shrink wrap has an opening revealing a 1 cm strip of the original sleeve. This area has become slightly discoloured and has suffered a minor loss of condition with a very small top seam tear (less than 1 c.m.). Top right had seam has a small pressure bump: see photos.
Vinyl in VG++ condition. Record play graded. Sounds loud, clear and fantastic. Labels and centre holes are pin sharp with only most minor sign of play around the side 2 centre hole. Vinyl lustre has a superficial loss of condition when scrutinised which looks to have been caused by storage over time. Giving the record a listen, the fade in to sides 1 and 2 and quieter sections between some tracks play with very occasional crackle and (a light pop at the fade in to side 2) but no other problems and no scratches.
