I have been in the music business for over 35 years, starting at Polydor Records in 1970. The time has come to reduce my sizable collection of vinyl and music related memorabilia.

Vinyl MINT- and appears unplayed. Superb glossy high sheen.
Sleeve EXCELLENT-
Original Apple sleeve showing some wear. Lower spine of the sleeve has a split at the bottom.Please see photos Some creasing on the Apple inner covers but no rips, tears or pen marks.
For it's age the Laminated sleeve is EXCELLENT- and in my opinion has few issues considering its 1968 release. The title 'James Taylor' is in 'Black' type on the cover. It was also released with 'Orange' type.
Original APPLE records 'white' inner graded EXCELLENT- with no splits, no tears or writing. Some creasing. Please see photos

The 4th 12'' LP release in the Apple catalogue. preceeded by 'Wonderwall', 'The Beatles' aka 'The White Album' & John & Yoko's 'Two Virgins'
James Taylor was 'given' Beatles session time during the recording of their 'White Album' at Wardour Street's 'Trident Studios', Paul McCartney is 'credited' & plays Fender Jazz Bass on 'Carolina On My Mind' , George Harrison plays guitar (uncredited) on the same.
George Harrison 'famously' used Taylor's song title as his lyric 'Something In The Way She Moves' for the 'first line' to his classic Beatles song 'Something' Taylor, to his great credit, in a 'cut throat' industry, has always downplayed this coincidence.
A highly significant 'First' album in Apple & 'The Beatles' history, that sold very few copies on its 1968 release.
A lovely 'minty' vinyl makes this 'set' very collectable.
