Description
Jan Dukes De Grey---"Sorcerers"---Original UK 1st Pressed Stereo Album In VG Condition On The Decca Nova Label---1W and 1W From 1969---Very Rare!!
This is a UK copy from 1969 in stereo on the Decca Nova label, cat. no. SDN 8 with matrices 1W and 1W .
Vinyl: VG. The vinyl is in nice condition with a great shine and a few marks as detailed next. Side 1 has 1 tick at the start of track 4. There is a long scratch which starts at the beginning of track 5 and goes to the end getting lighter as it goes on. This scratch starts with just 1 light tick at track 5 and is audible between tracks but hardly in music. It has practically gone by track 8 of the 11 on this side. Side 2 has 4 double ticks at the run in and very start of track 1. This side has a long hairline which has no affect. There is a little surface noise in quiet parts.
Labels: EX+. Labels are in great condition with no markings. There is normal use spindle wear.
Sleeve: VG. The sleeve is in clean, solid condition with light edge and corner wear. The front laminate has a few thumb creases but overall has a nice shine. I would say that from the front, edges and spine it is EX+. Back is a different matter with the white matt card having some light grubbiness. Someone has tried to create an artistic finish by adding some of their own drawings and comments in black marker and this is what lowers the overall grading. Original blue inner sleeve is EX+.
With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
Many thanks for looking at this and our other vinyl to be auctioned.
Please note that all records we sell are listened to in their entirety and are graded generously according to Record Collector guidelines. None of the vinyl has jumps or skips unless advised in the description.
