JAPAN – PERFORMANCE AT DRURY LANE
Rare 1982 unofficial live white-label vinyl LP – JAP 001
Scarce early Japan live LP featuring David Sylvian, Mick Karn, Steve Jansen and Richard Barbieri, recorded at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London during Japan’s final period.
This is the original-style unofficial JAP 001 pressing with completely plain red/pink labels and simple photocopied artwork.
The record has the correct hand-etched matrix numbers:
Side A: JAP 001 A
Side B: JAP 001 B
The release is housed in its original clear plastic sleeve with the distinctive photocopied Japan artwork sheet and separate track-list/image insert. The main artwork sheet is blank on the reverse, as shown.

Condition
Vinyl: very good
Artwork/inserts: Very good vintage condition overall with expected minor handling/storage wear. Please study the photographs carefully for exact condition.
Both record labels are completely blank. These are part of this unofficial pressing and should not be confused with a conventional commercial Virgin Records release.
A particularly unusual Japan collectible from the Tin Drum era and increasingly difficult to find complete with its original photocopied artwork and insert.
