This is the
Japanese Half Speed Mastered LP
of the
Pink Floyd
album titled
"Wish You Were Here"
(CBS Records 30AP 1875) (1980)
--------------------------------------------------
CBS only did 5 half speed albums in Japan, and all of them are much nicer than their American counterparts. They are also MUCH harder to find. Very nice!
The audiophile grade record is bright and shinney with no marks or scratches, even under intense light. The jacket is crisp and clean with very tiny bumps at the upper left and lower right corners. There are no splits or bends. The packaging is amazing on this album. There is a sleeve inside a sleeve inside a sleeve, which is inside another sleeve! One of the inner sleeves has some light age spots. It includes the original lyric sheet as well as the post card. There is no OBI.
A rare and beautiful example.
It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI-27 Typhoon record cleaning machine, and then again on a KL Audio Ultrasonic record cleaning machine.
The photos are of the actual item for sale.
