Description
JAY JAY JOHNSON SEXTET
with
Clifford Brown, Jimmy Heath, John Lewis, Percy Heath, Kenny Clarke Original Blue Note #5028 10 inch 33&1/3 DEEP GROOVE MONO Lp from 1953. The record has the Lexington Ave address, deep grooves, and the "ear" in the dead wax, both sides.
The vinyl has a major scratch on side one, it starts halfway through track one and continues through most of track two in a circular fashion, i.e in the direction of the grooves at an angle, loud ticks and pops and skipping because of this deep feelable scratch (you can see it in the photo). The other side is fine, just a couple of very light background ticks here & there.
The cover has light ringwear, noticeable edge wear and corner wear, and a small split at the bottom right corner, about 1 and a half inches, and a number written on the back in pencil, VG+ (see pictures for more details).
