Killer collection of afro-spiritual poetry by Jayne Cortez backed by master virtuoso bassist Richard Davis. This is powerful and deep. A great release on the famed Strata-East Records label.


This is a nice copy. The cover has only slight wear and clear tape on the top and bottom seams repairing some seam splitting – it’s not horrible at all. The vinyl is clean and glossy with only slight sleeve scuffs. It plays great. I grade this conservatively: VG+/EX (cover/vinyl).


This is an original pressing. I do not sell modern reissues.
