RARE, self-released private pressing album recorded live at CAPOLINEA club, Milan, IT. Originally produced by Angelo Arienti. Released on limited, hand-numbered edition of 1000 copies, this copy n#. 284/1000. Comes with outstanding, DIY gatefold sleeve with a special stenciled paint artwork, binding golden thread, and A4 red folded sheet inside with notes and line-ups. JII original sticker on both fron and back sleeve. Each sleeve comes with slight variations on sheet colour and the stenciled 'JAZZ' writing. Amazing Jazz session and 1st live recording at the historical Italian Jazz club featuring some of the top Italian Jazz ensembles and performers of the time. Features the incredible SANTE PALUMBO's suite DIP / POP BLUES with hot Jazzy grooves, Smooth and Funky killer Jazz numbers with the punishing Tullio De Piscopo's drums; heavy shades of his masterpiece SWAY with that mad Hip Hop Jazz sound. The legendary GIORGIO AZZOLINI's SPANISH PORTRAIT session which includes the same Sante Palumbo plus Giancarlo Pillot at the drums, with its refined Contemporary and BeBop Jazz, more Avant-garde/Free Jazz improvisations, Modern Jazz arrangements and so on. Amazing double LP set, heavy recording quality and essential item for Euro Jazz collectors.
