Description
Up for auction is a beautifully clean copy of the legendary audiophile Swedish jazz pressing of the Arne Domnerus album "Jazz At The Pawnshop" released on Propirus Records (Prop 77778-79). Pressed in Sweden. This is an authentic and original first pressing, not a cheap reissue. Labels marked "Mono/Stereo." "GP" 1 and 2 stampers in dead wax. Original gatefold cover with two LP records.
Cover is in fantastic shape, no real signs of previous wear or handling. Nice shiny laminate cover, no ring wear, no fraying, no rubbing losses. Corners sharp, no chipping, though bottom right has a really tiny bump, hard to notice. Gatefold is bone-white clean inside, no writing, no discoloration whatsoever. I'd grade the cover Near Mint (NM).
The vinyl is equally nice. Super shiny finishes, all original. No obvious scratches, scuffs, or marks. Looks virtually un-played, or handling with extreme care. No marks around spindle holes. Some very faint hairlines in the dead wax from taking the records out of the paper inner sleeve. Grooves themselves look super clean. I would grade this vinyl Near Mint (NM), my highest grade.
