Description

One of a Kind: Jazz at the Pawnshop, Proprius Musik Prop 7778-79 (1977)

Arne Domnerus Swedish jazz ensemble perform classics “Limehouse Blues”, “High Life”, “Lady Be Good”, “How High the Moon”, “Take Five” etc. Famous audiophile jazz recording! Superb demonstration sound. Rumored to be one of Harry Pearson’s (Absolute Sound) favorite records.

 

Scarce, first edition, 2 LP, gatefold cover, made in Sweden in 1977. First orange labels (grooved label), original issue! The gatefold has a sticker (pasted on) that list the tracks (another indication of an early pressing). Also, the record sleeves have the gramophone picture (definetely an early pressing). Records are in Near Mint condition (appear unplayed) & gatefold cover is NM+. Don’t miss this essential, one of kind first pressing, jazz audiophile recording!

Domestic (USA) and Canada shipping is $6.00 by USPS Media mail (8 days) or $8.00 USPS Priority mail (2 to 3 days). Insurance is optional at P.O. cost.
