Description
JAZZ AT THE WENTYVILLE-LP-ULTRA RARE CLUB MEMBERS AUS JAZZ-JOHN SANGSTER/JUDY BAILEY QUARTET /COL NOLAN/ERROL BUDDLE
What we have on sale today is an extremely rare (first one I've ever seen) of an LP issued to club members ONLY of the Parramatta Leagues Club in 1964. This album is a PRIVATE PRESS and not on a major or minor Australian Jazz label, I can't imagine there's too many of these still around. The project features some of Sydney's Top Jazz Musicians playing live.
Issued in Australia this rare 60's OOP Jazz Album by Various Artists including The Judy Bailey Quarter and features 5 tracks.
Reg Price Quartet "Over The Rainbow"
Judy Bailey Quartet "Love Is Simple Thing"
Ace Bruton Quartet "Volga Boatrman"
Jack Davison Quartet "Rio Re"
John Sangster Quartet "Cossack Patrol"
Made in Australia in 1964 by Vitatone Records VRS-JE-2.Again I must stress that this album is one of those ultra rare items that you see once in a very blue moon so don't expect to see one pop up again in this condition for a long while !
Record is in Excellent for its age, just a few marks. Sleeve is VG+ with wear on the outer edges of the sleeve and some marks on the back, please see photo's included. Labels are clean !
