this is the mother of all french greatest and rarest ever jazz LPs: JAZZ BOOM N°1 very first (and only in vinyl as far as i know) FRENCH LP (philips p 77. 101 L) In great microgroove . Love recording made at APOLLO-THEATRE in 1954 (May 12 and 26) . andré FRANCIS supervised the whole fiesta which included the cream of french jazz musicians. list is too long to quote them all but here you have: GEORGES ARVANITAS - CHRISTIAN CHEVALIER - HUBERT AND RAYMOND FOL - SACHA DISTEL (his very first debut!!)- GUY LAFITTE - ROGER GUERIN- REN URTREGER - BENNY VASSEUR and even the famous jazz musicien who also comitted some pure french rock'n'roll: MAC -KAK!! sleeve is in solid VG+ condition not mint as it has some folds on the sides and light wear on corners but real looks fine. also it has tape on left and top border but i think this is "original tape" the way it was manufactured then in France IT REALLY does not look as if the owner ADDED the tape (but i may be wrong first time i hold this record in my hands!) back cover is just fine (look at the scan). disc plays GREAT great sound and minimal surface noise mostly due to old jazz rather than condition of the disc which LOOKS like Mint and plays Solid Ex near mint ! postage for USA is $8 not $4
