Up for auction is a Jazz LP by drummer, Art Taylor, "Taylor's Wailers," Prestige Records 7117, 1957, Mono. The address on the label is W. 50th St., NYC.  "RVG" is stamped in the trailoff.

The lineup for this record is: Arthur Taylor, drums; Donald Byrd, trumpet; Jackie McLean, alto sax; Charlie Rouse, tenor sax; Ray Bryant, piano; Wendell Marshall, bass; John Coltrane, tenor sax; Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass. (This man had a lot of friends!)

The record is in very good condition. There are a couple of surface marks and/or lines on each side. None of these should affect play. The labels are in perfect condition. The album is also in very good condition. There are no splits on any seams. Corners have some wear. The front is laminated and looks very good. (I was able to wash off the brownish dots that show in the picture to the left.) The back has very light age discoloration. The original price is written in pencil.

NOTE ON PACKING: Records are shipped out of sleeve. Both record and cover are bagged and bubble wrap is put between record cover and record and cardboard before being wrapped in cardboard record mailer. Extra cardboard or bubble wrap is used to protect corners. If you have a postal service that is particularly hard on packages, let me know. Since I ship worldwide, I realize that some packages might need a little extra padding or care.
