Description
Jean Antonietti was born January 28, 1915. After his study at the Conservatory he finished his study with Frederik Lamond and Tabernal. Debut 1934. Since he played often as a soloist and a chamber musician. With world famous musicians he traveled trough Europe and South-America: Johanna Marzty, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, William Primrose, Marguerita Perras, Tossy Spivakovsky, Tibor de Machula and many others He died in 1994.

Recorded at the beginning of 1952 or November-December 1951. The date pressed in the wax ( 19.01.52 ) isn't the recording date, it's the date of the matrix used for the production.
Condition: 2 / 1-2. Only 4 years later, in 1956, this 78 rpm record was dropped and replaced to an 45 rpm EP record.
Grading:
1 = mint, never played on gramophone, is not used
1-2 = top copy, no traces of use - virtually as new
2 = excellent copy, few light non-sounding rubs/marks
2-3 = light traces of wear (rubs/marks), very light greying and/or light scratches, non sounding blemishes
3 = a good average copy with more noticeable rubs and marks; light greying, few light scratches possible
3-4 = more traces of use, sonic wear from light greying. An inferior average copy, light scratches possible
4 = some sounding wear, heavier rubs and marks, scratches possible
5 = obvious sounding wear, heavy rubs, marks, scratches. An unsatisfactory copy.
