An original 1950's French pressing, APPEARED ONLY FEW TIMES IN THE PAST ON EBAY, this extremely rare LP is a must for any violin collector.

Jean CHAMPEIL, a pupil of ENESCO, later a member of the Quatuor Calvet , plays here his own edition of these sonatas, made by reading the original manuscript.
Beautiful interpretation, surely not one you hear every day.

The LP offered for sale here includes the ORIGINAL SCORE BOOKLET (which is usually missing if you're lucky to find a copy).  Gatefold Cover.

Record is visualy VG due to many surface marks However, it plays much better than it looks allowing a great listening experience. The Vega pressing quality is so good that in spite of the surface scuffs the recording sounds crisp and clear with minimum surface noise

Cover is VG- , has wear and aging stains, please see pictures.

The inner score booklet is EX+

Grading

Most records are visually graded . In certain circumstances I will play a record to get the most accurate grading.

I use "Record Collector" grading method (Mint, NM, EX, VG, etc.)

My highest grade for a non-sealed records is usually NM (Near Mint) I will grade it as Mint only if it's sealed or if I am 100% certain  that this record was hardly played and has no pressings faults. I will not list records less than VG condition unless they are extremely rare.
