Artist:  JEANNE LEE

Title:  “Conspiracy”

Label:  EARTHFORMS.  Stereo pressing on medium weightvinyl.  Label is beige with maroon text.  Catalog number is SEEDS 5.

Year:  1975.

NOTE:  This came from a large collection stored for many years by an individual associated with the radio station at an all-black university back in the mid 1970s-early 80s.  Most appear to have been played once, or appear unplayed.  Guaranteed to be original and not a modern repro.  I will be listing additional albums from this collection in the coming weeks, so please check back for additional rare titles.

Personnel:

Jeanne Lee – vocals

Sam Rivers – soprano & tenor sax, flute

Gunter Hampel – flute, piano, vibes, alto & bass clarinet

Jack Gregg – bass

Steve McCall – drums

Perry Robinson, Allan Praskin – clarinet

Mark Whitecage – alto clarinet

Marty Cook - trombone.

Condition:

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NM-, a beauty!  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, except a few faint paper scuffs on Side 2 that do not affect play.  Disc has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  Plays beautifully with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine.

JACKET:  Jacket is nice VG++.  Front artwork is clean and bright, with a few slight traces of ring wear just beginning to appear.  Nice seams and spine, except top has approx. 1” beginning to split at top center and approx. 1” beginning to split at opening.  Reverse has a bit of ring wear and is clean with no writing, stickers or cut-out marks.  Overall a very nice jacket to accompany the beautiful disc.
