On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Jeff Beck Group called "Rough & Ready" and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK QUADRAPHONIC 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Epic label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE EPIC LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1971 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT, IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS 100% GENIUNE UK 'QUADRAPHONIC' 1ST PRESSING!!!! AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! U.S. ONES ARE COMMON - BUT FINDING A 100% GENIUNE UK QUADRAPHONIC 1ST PRESSING IS NOW VERY HARD INDEED, AS ONLY A FEW HUNDRED COPIES WERE EVER MADE!!!! NOW OF COURSE - I AM CALLING THIS A 1971 1ST PRESSING (AS IT IS THE ONLY DATE I HAVE!), BUT THIS QUADRAPHONIC 1ST PRESSING WAS PROBABLY FIRSTLY RELEASED IN 1972 OR 1973 IN THE UK, AS QUADRAPHONIC SYSTEMS WERENT AROUND UNTIL THIS TIME!!!! BUT WHICHEVER DATE IT IS - THIS ONE IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE UK 1ST PRESSING - AND IS INDEED THE ONLY QUADRAPHONIC PRESSING EVER MADE, AS IT SOLD SO TERRIBLY - THAT IT WAS DELETED AND NEVER MADE AGAIN!!!! IT IS ALSO WORTH NOTING THAT NO UK QUADRAPHONIC DISCS WERE EVER MADE FOR THIS LP - EVER!!!! SO TO MAKE THIS LP SALEABLE FOR THE UK MARKET, EPIC (WHICH WAS PART OF 'CBS'!) USED A U.S. 'QUADRAPHONIC' DISC, A UK 1ST PRESS 'SHOREWOOD' COVER, AND A UK 1ST PRESS 'SQ CBS Q' GOLD STICKER - WHICH WAS PLACED ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER OVER THE CATALOGUE NUMBER!!!! AND THIS IS EXACTLY HOW ALL UK 1ST PRESSINGS CAME FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' - AND NONE WERE MADE ANY DIFFERENTLY!!!! ONLY A FEW HUNDRED QUADRAPHONIC UK 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - AND THEY ARE NOW ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK QUADRAPHONIC 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS GOLD QUADRAPHONIC LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIXES, PLAIN INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'SHOREWOOD' GOLD STICKERED 'SQ' QUADRAPHONIC COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Epic UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EPC 64619 / SQ CBS Q QAL 30973 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Epic label (see picture) and is a UK QUADRAPHONIC 1st Pressing!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! Now of course - at this point I should grade this LP MINT(Minus)!!!! However there are some slight bag sweat marks on both sides under light - however this is the ONLY detail to mention on this otherwise SUPERB record!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound in places (though mostly NONE!)!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The ORIGINAL UK 1st Press 'Shorewood' GOLD STICKERED 'SQ' Quadraphonic Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!! It has NO sticker marks, NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (PERFECT side words!), NO sticker tears, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The 'SQ' GOLD STICKER is in PERFECT condition - with NO rubbing AT ALL!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! SUPERB COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

Oops! Just noticed a TINY annotation in the bottom right corner on the inside of the gatefold. This is just about visible in the pictures. However, it is so small and inobtrusive that I didnt even notice it until today! Sorry!
