JEFF BECK TRUTH 1ST MONO BLUE/BLACK COLUMBIA PRESS 1968 VG/VG.


Rare original Mono 1st UK pressing on blue/black Columbia labels. Corrected matrix numbers and laminated flip back sleeve.


Vinyl visually grades as VG with lots of light hairlines, scuffs snd marks. It actually plays pretty well. No sticks, jumps, etc. Some crackle can be heard in quiet sections and spaces between tracks, but cannot really be heard through the music. A few pops on the start of track 1 side 2. Visually it’s VG to VG- but sonically closer to VG+. One of the reasons I love old thick pressed mono copies.


Laminated sleeve has laminate crinkles, ring wear showing on the front and is grubby on the rear (see photos). No writing, rips or tears. VG


Overall this isn’t the most pristine copy out there, but is still a very decent listening copy and a worthy collection filler for fans of Jeff Beck or Rod Stewart.
