There's nothing like a little (or a lot) of Jefferson Airplane albums to bring back the hippie days of the late '60s (except maybe seeing them live in the stoned haze of 1968, which I did), and even though the first three LPs in this lot are '80s reissues, the vinyl is in great shape. For some odd reason, they seem to be worth more than almost any 1970s reissues in comparable condition. (Check Discogs) Although they're not dated, the Best Buy Series logo (as well as barcodes) are a dead giveaway. After Bathing At Baxter's is the somewhat scarce non-gatefold cover. The Volunteers LP seems to be an original 1969 (Hollywood) pressing. The Bark album is a reissue (year unknown, but possibly '80s) where they no longer packaged it in a brown paper bag with the JA logo in red circle, so there is a big clear plastic sticker with BARK PERSONNEL - NEW JEFFERSON AIRPLANE on the front cover. This version seems to be one of the most rare, rarer than the brown paper back. Volunteers, Bark and Long John Silver contain the original inserts or graphic inner-sleeves. A great lot of JA albums!
