DESCRIPTION
ARTIST: JEFFERSON AIRPLANE
TITLE: “SURREALISTIC PILLOW”
PRESSING: 1967 Original “FIRST” Pressing STEREO LP
CATALOG #: RCA LSP-3766
LABELS: Extremely clean shiny “Black” labels with “RCA VICTOR” in white along the top of the label and the “Nipper” logo underneath.

COVER: NrMT or better
Comments: Pristine glossy “pastedown” cover displays sharp, vivid colors with the “original” shrink wrap completely intact! There is just a trace of ring wear beneath the shrink at the very top of front side of the cover (see photograph), but absolutely No ring wear on the back! There are No marks or writing, No creases, No seam splits, and No cut out marks or bar codes. Ever so slight, barely noticeable wear in the lower right corner is the only minor flaw, and mentioned for accuracy. This is one of the cleanest covers for this particular release that you can possibly expect to locate - a condition rarity!!
VINYL: VG++
Comments: Extremely clean, full original gloss “Thick” vinyl with several very minor insignificant faint hairlines (No scratches) seen under bright light from sliding in and out of the original inner sleeve. The album has been play tested and plays very nicely throughout the recording.
INNER SLEEVE: Original RCA inner sleeve advertising other artists and selections from their catalog, which was used during the time period of this release. The inner sleeve is in superb NrMT+ condition with No creases or seam splits, which is amazing for a nearly 50 year-old paper sleeve to this classic album.
Comments: “First” pressing copies of this very popular album are extremely difficult to locate with a super clean cover with the original shrink wrap still intact! LP features many classic Jefferson Airplane songs including “Today”, “Comin’ Back to Me”, “How Do You Feel”, “Plastic Fantastic Lover”, and two of their biggest hits ever “White Rabbit” and “Somebody To Love”!!
I am very conservative with my grading. There is NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for multiple LPs won in the same auction cycle.
