Description
For sale is JERI SOUTHERN, The Southern Style," on Decca DL 8055, Mono, DG, 1955.
SOUND: NM It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Plays beautifully. Overall, an outstanding playback. There is the slightest bit of light, routine surface noise... extremely minor, I only mention it to be complete. There is a pop in the run-out of side B, after the completion of the last cut. Again, just being complete.
VINYL: VG+ Very nice. Side B has a few light handling/playing marks, all superficial. Side A is near-perfect. Small DG labels are clean and very nice. There is a feel-able mark in the run-out of side B, causes a pop, but it is heard after the last cut stops.
JACKET: VG+ Solid all-around, with routine, minor wear. Front and back are clean, bright, and unmarked. Very nice jacket.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
