Description

This is the super rare Modern Soul LP - JEROME OLDS "You Lift Me Up" LP on HEARTSTRING RECORDS HS 80-100, pressed in 1980. Jacket is VG++ with no seam splits. Very light shelf wear spot on the top & bottom as pictured. Light corner scuffs & light seam wear in a couple of spots. Vinyl side 1 is VG++ with some light surface marks. Side 2 Vinyl is VG (overwhelmingly VG+/VG++) with some light surface marks & a couple very light hairline scuffs. There is a very small scratch at the end of song #4 "Play me" that causes a quick 7 revolution tick at the end of the song as it is transitioning to song #5 Bustin Out. Side 2 would easily be VG+/VG++ if it werent for the small scratch. Both sides are very clean & shiny. vinyl comes in blank inner sleeve. Jerome Olds was big in the Atlanta area club scene in the late 1970s until he changed musical direction to Christian music on the mid 1980s to the 1990s. This particular LP is super hard to find. I've only seen 1 other for sale in the last several years. Buyer to pay $4 shipping USA & overseas shipping will be calculated. Thanks!
