Description

This is a real find!  This LP is nearly 50 years old and finding one that is completely knackered would be something!  This is in lovely condition.   The sleeve is mint!  There is no other way to describe it.  It is in as new conditon and looks as though it has been stored in the dark for 48 years with no light fading to it or deterioration in any form.   The unlaminated back is white, crisp and umarked and in pretty unbelievable condition.

The vinyl does have some marks,  we're not talking scratches here, just some light marking.  It's difficult to give it a grade, I'm going to describe it as Ex--, that is Ex, minus, minus.  It plays Ex and unlike most vinyl from this period that has been ruined, even if they look good, on record-destroying equipment used for 78s of the time, this has clearly been  lovingly looked after.  There is no distortion or evidence of blunt needle use whatever which is such a common problem with 50s records, particularly LPs.  I don't think it's going too far to suggest that Jerry Lee Lewis collectors will not see another of his very first LP in this condition again.
