Description
Ultra rare late 50's original South Africa press of Jerry Lee Lewis' self titled debut LP, pressed on the maroon unboxed London label (HA-S.2138) Undoubtedly very few were ever made in what was then a very small African nation late 50's!!
The sleeve is overall VG condition and reflects the period it comes from. Some general wear on the edges especially on the spine where the artist and album name are not visible - however no splits. Front overall is pretty good (some faint creases) Back is similar to the overall appearance of the sleeve - there is noticeable but minor wear on the bottom seams ; light flash of mild ring-wear. Otherwise, the sleeve is still good and has remarkably survived for close to 60 years!
The vinyl is also VG condition. Some lustre on the vinyl but expected cobwebs of surface marks scattered on both sides, though nothing overwhelming nor deep. The centre labels are in very good condition besides some very faint spindle hole wear.
