Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1958 SUN RECORDS U.S. self-titled debut LP from rockabilly legend Jerry Lee Lewis.  It is Sun Records catalog number LP-1230, deep groove thick rigid vinyl pressing.  Record comes packaged inside the cover in a plain white paper inner sleeve.

Visual condition of record is VG with a fair number of surface marks and surface scratches which cannot be felt and do not affect play, and one small shallow pit in the play surface which is a pressing anomaly which also has absolutely no effect on play, I have play tested the record over this area and it player perfectly - This is a deep groove thick rigid vinyl pressing which plays considerably better than it looks, record plays loud and clear with just a little light scattered surface noise which is obliterated by the loud level of the music.  Condition of cover is also a high VG with two splits along the top edge of the cover which I havre repaired by taping from the inside, some ring and contact wear, some fraying along the top edge, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. 

This original Sun LP is very collectable and would make a choice addition to any Jerry Lee Lewis, Sun Records, rockabilly, or 1950s  rock-n-roll record collection!
