The Dick Clark ‘American Bandstand’ special pressing!!!
This has been in my record collection for almost 60 years.
I can’t remember ever playing it as I already had the “usual” single!
The record must be mint but the sleeve, as you can see in the photographs,
has some “foxing” (age-related spots, etc.).
Please note the “Beech-Nut Spearmint Special” sleeve
and the facsimile autograph on the record label.
You will be hard-pressed to find a better copy.
So far as I recall, the pressings were only in the thousands
(ten thousand? – can’t be many good ones left)).
A certain number of Beech-Nut chewing gum wrappers
needed to be sent in to get this special pressing.
