TITLE/INFO: OK, I'll be listing more old and rare 45's these next few weeks, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. This highly collectible record with it's rare picture sleeve by Jerry Lee Lewis is entitled "High School Confidential/Fools Like Me", from 1958 and is in nice overall condition. As a throw-in, I am also including an original Sun Label company sleeve (see pics), which is another hard to find item today. The song is from the 1958 movie of the same name which starred Mamie Van Doren (that's her on the right in the picture sleeve), and among others, a very young Michael Landon - J.J. Lewis also had a cameo spot in the film. Yes, in my opinion, this collectible 45/PS is in very good overall condition, but please read on and check out all the pictures above. LABEL INFO: This original, Sun Label (296) is good, but not perfect by any means. There is a light circular dirt ring on both sides, but otherwise it is just fine. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also primarily clean and nice, but again not perfect. There are a number of super light (and I do mean super light) surface/paper lines on either side. But, they have absolutely no effect on the record's play - it sounds great - and really not much effect on it's appearance either. Overall, I see this as quite minor and uneventful in the whole scheme of things here - and otherwise, it's just fine. PICTURE SLEEVE:  Finally, the somewhat unusual, double sided, paper picture sleeve is also in real nice shape but again, not quite perfect either. The one minor flaw  it might have is some small amount of light crease and/or wrinkle lines in a few places, but again, nothing all that serious (see pics above). And otherwise, it is just fine but please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything - or write me if you need more info! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this rare and collectible 45/PS combo is in very nice overall shape and, as always, I have begun the auction at a very low opening bid and have no reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck! FYI, if anyone wants to bid on multiple items to save postage costs, I am more than happy to "save" your winning pieces here at the house until you are ready for shipping - just tell me ahead of time and please pay as you win them. In addition to this record, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces.
