TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of those early, rare and highly collectible LP`s by a man known as "The Killer" from the 1950's-60's - for his high energy, wild and crazy R'n'R/Rockabilly ways. This was his very 1st LP release - as a part of Sam Philips' early Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, and Jerry Lee Lewis SUN Records days - back in 1958. Jerry Lee Lewis was a major part of the '50's R'n'R explosion, and our musical roots and R'n'R history would not have been the same without him. It is yet another album in outstanding, practically "like new" condition - both the vinyl and the jacket. This rare album - his very 1st - is on the original SUN Label and is self-entitled "Jerry Lee Lewis" from 1958. The LP includes 12 great songs - all in MONO and all in outstanding shape - including hits like, "Ubangi Stomp", "Matchbox", "High School Confidential", "Jambalaya" plus more (see the pictures above for all the song titles, liner notes, and more). LABEL INFO: This original, SUN Label (LP-1230) is nearly perfect with real no issues at all - I don't even see many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little actual play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in need of a mention. In my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased, although there are a few super light (and I do mean super light) paper lines in a couple of places. JACKET INFO: Finally, this extremely colorful and attractive jacket is also nearly perfect and has no serious flaws or other issues whatsoever. In all honesty, this entire package looks super clean, neat and darn close to perfect!! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this extremely rare and highly collectible LP is in the really nice shape, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
