Description

HELLO, AND THANKS FOR VIEWING THIS AUCTION! Today, we have for your consideration with NO RESERVE, this 1960s/70s 12" METAL ACETATE 33 1/3 rpm record by Jerry Reed which is a "LIVE" recording with audience present. No stamper or matrix numbers, the record has a smooth flat black lacquer back with marks and wear; the edge has a couple of tiny worn spots, record grades VG and plays with minor background noise. I have played the record all the way through on 2 different record players, on one the 1st song skips a few times at the beginning, doesn't skip on the other player, however, it may or may not skip on your record player. I have provided you with a sound clip of "Guitar Man", other tracks are: "Old El Paso?", "May The Bird of Paradise Fly Up Your Noise", "Eastbound?" and "The Guitar". Some of the aforementioned titles may be incorrect. Jerry does alot of narration/interacting with the audience. Jerry also tells the story the night he got a call from Felton Jarvis who produced Elvis Presley and told Jerry that Elvis wanted to record his (Jerry) song, "Guitar Man" and wants him to play guitar.
