Description
This is an original LP + 7" Interview Disc & Picture Sleeve by Jesse Ed Davis called Keep Me Comin on Epic Records KE 32133 from 1973. First the LP: Both sides play very nice VG++ and are close to M-. I think Side One could grade M-. There is an occasional light noise in the background on Side One. Side Two has a little more noise but is still minor and is close to M-. Both sides play with excellent tone and sound. It also comes with it's original lyric/info sheet and it's original Epic inner sleeve that gives information about new releases at the time of bands on the label from the time (and there are some good ones like The Edgar Winter Group, Grin w/ Nils Lofgren, The Hollies, Kris Kristofferson, Flash Cadillac, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes and Billy Paul). Some of the musicians appearing on this album are Jim Gordon, Carolyn Willis and Jim Keltner with cameo appearances by several artists whose last names are not given but it is not hard to figure who they are: Leon, Bonnie, Mick, Billy, Rod, Bette, and El Mysterioso. The cover is a nice VG+ and is solid. There is slight ringwear on the front, and more on the back (see photos.) There is also a little wear on the top spine (see last photo). It is a nice cover. The 7" interview sleeve is M-. There is a slight bit of wear from the record in the 10 o'clock position on the back and a little record impression but is really nice. The record is an interview that is over 14 minutes long with KMET-FM's B. Mitchell Reed in Los Angeles. I played it a long time ago when I first got the album but don't recall the sound. It looks M- and the vinyl has a nice glossy shine. The labels look great also.
