Guitarist and Vocalist Davis was one of the most in demand session players during the late 1960's and 1970's. His Guitar playing was the finishing touch on many big name artists' LP's. Fortunately, he was able to record a few albums under his own name. This LP from 1973 is a real mixed bag of music genre's, and as a result received very little radio play as programmers didn't know how to classify him. They should have just played all the tracks at one time or another as the LP is so good. He's backed by a number of excellent name musicians. Album comes with the rare (usually missing) 7" 33 1/3 Interview disc with DJ B. Mitchell Reed, and a complete Lyric sheet (see photo). Unfortunately, like so many others, Davis was very heavily into drugs and died in 1988 from an overdose. But he has left behind fabulous recordings, and his playing on others sessions made the record!
