Description
JESSE JAMES
IF YOU WANT A LOVE AFFAIR
Jesse James is a much more 'showbiz' name than James McClelland isn't it? James had only minor success in the charts, but his numerous records in the '60s and '70s have resonated with Northern Soul collectors and made many of them much sought-after platters. This is clearly one of the best of the best.
The topside here is "If You Want A Love Affair" and it's one of his singles on 20th Century Records. It's got that great early '70s groove with a spoken beginning and a nice wakka-wakka guitar. No wonder this is such a hot item ! How in the world did this miss out on becoming a hit ? !?!? This one's flipped with "I Never Meant To Love Her."
