Issued before it went live as a stage production, this has more of a rock feel than most of Rice-Lloyd Webber works...

The main singers are:Ian Gillan,Murray Head,Yvonne Elliman,Mike Dabo and loads more..

The band is basically the Greaseband (Rowland,Spenner,Hubbard,McCulloch),but other musicians include:Pete Robinson,Chris Mercer,Carl Jenkins,Mick Weaver and Chris Spedding.

Issued on MCA in October 1970..MKPS 2011..UK pressing..Complete with booklet and Decca inner sleeves (This was actually pressed by Decca)...This also has an outer LAMINATED sleeve..Later issues had a matt, non laminated sleeve..

The mother and stampers are 1BA,1BU,1BH and 1BU..It's a VERY early copy from the pressing plant.

Play grade is EX ++..All 4 sides play PERFECTLY..There are no clicks, pops or crackle and the sound quality is clean and undistorted..The discs play flat on the turntable with no edge warps..

Visually, all the discs grade as EX+++..They are clean and undamaged with no scratches, scuffs or other marks..They still have that sheen of virgin vinyl....

The gatefold sleeve (front laminated)grades as EX+ with just a couple of small laminate lifts and a little light scuffing (not through the colour) to the front bottom...The back sleeve has light discshape...

There are no seam splits, rips, tears, scribble, sellotape or tape marks and all the text on the spine is clearly legible, there is no rubbing to the edges and the colours are bright and unfaded....
