This is a VERY! VERY! RARE! VINYL
JETHRO TULL - PASSION PLAY - WHITE LABEL COPY ( it was a white label Promo copy which group gave out to select few before the actual release)
THIS IS WHY THERE IS NO SLEEVE WITH ARTWORK AS ITS PRESSED BEFORE THE ALBUM WAS FINALISED, ONLY A FEW PRESSED FOR PROMOTIONAL REASONS.
My father was given this by the group before the actual release date as he knew Jethro Tull. The actual release date of the album was 6th jJuly 1973, the sleeve has a stamped date on it of 4th May 1973. Also they have hand wrote the catalogue number above the stamped date.

A Passion Play is the sixth studio album by Jethro Tull, released in 1973. Like its predecessor, Thick as a Brick (1972), it is a concept album with a single song (which was split into two parts on the original vinyl LP release). The theme of the concept is apparently the spiritual journey of one man in the afterlife.
Upon its original release, it sold well and reached No. 1 on the charts in the United States and in the United Kingdom it reached No. 13.
