JETHRO TULL - STAND UP - 1969 UK LP - VERY GOOD+
This is a very rare UK LP release of Jethro Tull's 1969 album "Stand Up"; Tracks: Side 1: A New Day Yesterday; Jeffrey Goes To Leicester Square; Bourée; Back To The Family; Look Into The Sun; Nothing Is Easy; Fat Man; We Used To Know; Reasons For Waiting; For A Thousand Mothers. No playing times are mentioned on the disc nor on the sleeve.
This LP was released in the UK in late 1969 on the Island Records (big block) label, catalogue number ILPS 9103, made and printed in the UK; it is the second UK release which came straight after the first one with the big "i" logo. The record goes in a white paper inner sleeve and then goes in the well-known matted gatefold sleeve with the pop-up figures inside (see picture).
The record is made of thick quality vinyl and thanks to this it is in very good to excellent condition; there is very little surface noise and absolutely no deterioration in the sound quality; there are only a few superficial hairy scratches but they do not cause continuous surface noise or jumps. The inner sleeve is in excellent condition, no damage whatsoever; the outer sleeve is also in excellent condition; there is no tear or wear, there are no stains or nicks, there is no writing, etc. The pop-up figures are still intact. Overall, this LP can be graded as in Very Good Plus condition; a true beauty for its age.
A very rare homebase LP release of Jethro Tull's second album in almost excellent condition; a must have for your collection!!
