Description
This Jethro Tull vinyl record is a UK 1st press, featuring the album "Stand Up" from 1969. The record is in excellent condition and comes with its original inner sleeve and cover. The vinyl matrix number is A/B and it has a stereo sound with a speed of 33RPM.
The album showcases the band's signature sound that blends elements of progressive rock and folk rock, with Ian Anderson's notable skills on flute and lead guitar. The record is a must-have for any Jethro Tull fan or collector of 1960s folk rock on vinyl. This first pressing is a rare find and will make a superb addition to any music collection. The vinyl has sleeve removal marks, no scratches that impact the punchy superb audio. It has the usual static in the run- ins and between tracks also on quiet passages but does not affect the great audio. No sticks or jumps. Truly a great copy of a 54 year old album. The gatefold pop-up sleeve is solid with the usual corner rubs. The back has a bit of staining but not too bad. There is no EJ DAY printer credits on the back sleeve, the credit is to the right of the pop-up feet inside which denotes a genuine first press. Also no STEREO on the spine which has a bit of rubbing but legible, which also denotes an original First Press. Altogether a great package. Please see photos and zoom in as they make up the description.
All vinyls are Pro-cleaned and come in antistatic sleeves. Records are posted in mailers to ensure safe journey to you. Many thanks for viewing and I combine postage so have a wee peek at my other listings👌🎶
