A GREAT COPY OF AN ELUSIVE ALBUM. THE VINYL COPY OF 'STAND UP' IS THE SECOND-PRESS ISSUE, WITH SECOND-PRESS LABELS, AND SECOND-PRESS IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS.
THIS EXCELLENT RECORD IS LONG-DELETED AND HAS BECOME HIGHLY-PRIZED BY COLLECTORS OF QUALITY VINYL AND LOVERS OF FINE MUSIC.
CATALOGUE NUMBER AND MATRIX:  ILPS + 9103 + A2 Nothing on the B Side.

In fantastic condition!
Condition of Vinyl: Visual grading:  EX+ or slightly better.  Both surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen with no dulling.

There are very few of the lightest and only hairline surface marks. STUNNING!!!
Remember i am grading my records under a very strong light. This is an AMAZING copy!!!
LABELS:  THE ISLAND ROOUGH TEXTURED LABELS ARE IN MAGNIFICENT CONDITION, THE PASTEL PINK COLOUR IS UNBLEMISHED AND FULLY STRETCHES INTO THE UNWORN SPINDLE HOLE. THE BLACK TYPEFACE IS ALSO CLEAR AND PERFECTLY LEGIBLE, AND I COUNT ONLY A FEW SMALL SPIDER LINES CLOSE TO THE HOLE, SHOWING JUST HOW LITTLE THIS LP HAS BEEN PLAYED

I can not really work out why, but the  A side plays like an EX with some light surface noise in the run ins and the quietest parts, however the B side plays amazingly as it should considering the visual grading, at least like an EX+ with some very light surface noise only at times in the run ins and the quietest parts, others you hear nothing. It might need a deep cleaning with a professional machine.

This is a great record!!!. Beautiful!!!   No jumps or skips.
Condition of Cover: EX+.
NON LAMINATED POP UP SLEEVE.
THE FRONT SURFACE IS CLEAN.
THERE ARE NO HEAVY CREASES ONLY A HANDFUL OF CREASE LINES.
THE COLOURS REMAIN PERFECT AND UNRUBBED.
THE TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES HAVE VERY LIGHT SHELF WEAR THE SPINE IS NEARLY UNWORN AND ALL OF THE BLACK TYPEFACE IS PERFECTLY LEGIBLE.
THE BACK IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION BUT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS, THERE IS A VERY LIGHT STAIN TO THE BOTTOM LEFT EDGE
THE GATEFOLD REVEALS A PRISTINE INTERIOR PAIR OF PANELS WITH A NEARLY PERFECT POP UP SECTION OF THE BAND. THE POP UP HAS NO BENDS OR CREASES, ONLY A MINOR TEAR AT THE VERY BOTTOM.
This copy is in unbelievable condition. SUPERB!!!
Please, Check photos!!!!.

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

LPs and singles will be sent in a record mailing envelope and will be protected by two cardboard stiffeners.

I am new to ebay but I am an experienced buyer of vinyl and I have a very good understanding of the grading system. I have been collecting for over 20 years and I have now decided to downsize my collection due to a lack of space.

I have an extensive collection of all genres of music ranging from the 50s, if there is anything that you specifically want please get in touch and I will put it up for auction..
