Description

This is a real collectors record for anybody who was alive and listening to music in the early 70's. The record is in very good condition as I used to buy an LP and then immedeatly tape it to play. I have not had a record player for quite a few years now but have stored my records carefully in a dry cupboard in upright boxes. I have finally decided it is time to get rid of my collection and hope somebody else will get pleasure from listening to this great record

 

Thick as a Brick is the fifth studio album by the English band Jethro Tull, released in 1972. The album is notable for only including one song, which spans the entire album. Thick as a Brick was deliberately crafted in the style of a concept album (and as a "bombastic" and "over the top" parody). The original packaging, designed like a newspaper, claims the album to be a musical adaptation of an epic poem by a (fictional) 8-year-old boy, though the lyrics were actually written by the band's front man Ian Anderson.  The album was a commercial success and topped the US charts
