Description

Up for auction today with have a very rare Mono 1st press of Jethro Tull's 'This Was' LP in very good condition.

The record is on Island Records, MONO.

ILP 985, Made in England, Pink Rough Textured, ridged, Orange 'Eye' logo, black text label, 1968 1st Pressing

STAMPERS
Side 1, ILP + 985 + A (Machine stamped)

Side 2, ILP + 985 + B (Machine stamped)

The condition of the album follows the record collectors guidebook standards of 2014
The record itself is in very good condition and has a great sheen with just a couple of faint hairline scratches that do not affect the play or the album. The album has been played through by myself and does not skip pop or jump. (EDIT) - I have cleaned the vinyl using clear groove and this has noticeably reduced the surface noise. A couple of times on the lp (side A track 2 and start of 3) you can hear a bit of surface noise but it doesn't intervene with the sound of the band.
Side 2 plays superbly with very little surface noise. The Lp cover is in good condition with minor wear to the corners. The spine has a couple of tears in it (see photos) but the rest of the lp cover is generally very good.
The rare pink labels are in excellent condition.
As this is a very rare record I will happily accept returns if you're not happy with the item
Please contact me if you're have any problems before leaving feedback and I am a trusted seller and will do the best I can to resolve any problems.
Thanks and happy bidding.
