COVER: VG++. Laminated gatefold cover is very solid and clean, has a bit of corner wear and very slight ringwear.
VINYL: VG++. Very shiny and amazingly clean, almost near mint. Couple of tiny faint hairlines.
LABEL CONDITION: very clean pink "i" labels with light spindle marks.

COMMENTS: UK 2nd pressing album. A beautiful UK MONO pressing of the debut album from Jethro Tull, This Was!! Formed by Ian Anderson and bassist Glenn Cornick, they added the blues guitarist Mick Abrahams and drummer Clive Bunker to complete the band, and record this debut album for Island Records in 1968. A bluesy/rock n' roll album largely due to Abrahams guitar playing, but Anderson's flute playing gave the band its unique sound from the beginning. Most of the songs were written by Anderson and Abrahams, other than a Roland Kirk number. Tracks include, My Sunday Feeling, Dharma For One, Cats Squirrel, and more. Vinyl looks GREAT and sounds terrific in MONO!!

I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's. AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!!
ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier which pushes (4) original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!
I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!! FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
