Description

"Jill's All Time Juke Box" radio show transcription disc.  One complete 30 minute radio program on this 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm disc.  This disc was issued to radio stations for U. S. troops overseas during the World War Two era and not available to the general public, very rare!

"Jill's All Time Juke Box" radio program #69 circa 1944 hosted by "G. I. Jill" who serves as disc jockey and plays records requested by U. S. Troops.  Records played include "Alexander's Ragtime Band" Benny Goodman, "Why Stars Come Out At Night" Ray Noble, "Rose Room" Jack Hilton, "Tico Tico" Ethel Smith, "Clarinet Marmalade" Nick LaRosa, "I'm Too Romantic" Bing Crosby, "Elmer's Tune" Glenn Miller, "Down Home Rag" Tommy Dorsey, "St. Louis Blues" Benny Goodman

Program was meant to be broadcast to servicemen overseas, Excellent World War Two Era nostalgic broadcast!   Program is complete and 30 minutes

Disc is in Excellent Condition with Excellent Sound, Beautiful Disc!

Due to their size, 16 inch discs will not play on most standard turntables.   I will include a CD dub of the disc for the buyer only
