Description
RCA Records white label promo 45 rpm Christmas single release from JIM REEVES with MARTHA CARSON & STUART HAMBLEN on the flip. Tracks are: HIGHWAY TO NOWHERE / THE OLE MAN.
There is no RCA DJ-## release number on this one and can't find a RCA discography listing but indications would suggest a 1956 release. The CARSON & HAMBLEN side had a B-side 45 release with the title LORD I CAN'T COME NOW. The JIM REEVES side was from a January 1956 session that has shown up on EP and later albums.
VG condition - it's very much a borderline VG+ with just a few micro-scratches and ultra-light sleeve storage scuffs. Great player with still a ton of luster. The sound file is from the offered 45 tracked at two grams. Small age foxing and writing on label.
