THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE - Are You Experienced? 1967 original STEREO pressing on tri-color "steamboat" Reprise label. RS-6261. Cover is in original shrink wrap with original record store price sticker. Also included - original Reprise Records inner sleeve picturing contemporary albums from 1967 such as Nancy Sinatra, Dino Desi and Billy, Dean Martin, The Kinks, Duke Ellington, Sandie Shaw, Frank Sinatra, and Sonny & Cher. The world truly did not know what was about to hit it!
This record is GROUND ZERO for MODERN ROCK 'N' ROLL GUITAR!!
DISC is VG+++. Light scuffs and marks, not palpable to the touch and do not affect play. Background noise is light to minimal and not distracting. No distortion to music.
LABELS are super clean with the lightest of spindle marks.
COVER is NEAR MINT MINUS in original shrink wrap which is torn at the lower right corner (approx 2"); a tiny tear to shrink at upper left front cover; tiny tears to shrink at upper and lower left corners. Right edge of shrink wrap is about 3/8" from right edge of cover. I believe this is due to the shrink wrap having shrunk over the last 45 years. There is also some creasing to shrink wrap and very light ring wear to shrink wrap. All four corners of cover are slightly bumped. Writing on spine and on top edge of cover is perfectly legible and clear. Cover photos are sharp and clear, no fading, and front cover colors are bright and vivid. Original record store price sticker states "COMPARE AT $5.98 OUR PRICE $4.48"
INNER SLEEVE (Reprise Records company sleeve) is NEAR MINT MINUS.
Record will be packaged in new polyethylene sleeve with disc in paper sleeve outside of cover, and will be shipped in 13x13x2 Uline mailer (200 lb. test) with 13" x 13" filler pads to avoid edge/corner bumping.
