THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE
" ARE YOU EXPERIENCED "
on the TRACK RECORDS Lable cat# 612 001 from 1967 in MONO.
A-1 / B-1 MATRIXES suggest this is a FIRST PRESSING!
An outrageous debut album by any standard, and by this artist and band - they were a spectacle to behold!
Flamboyant Carnaby Street garb, incredible blazing loud psychedelic music, and all emanating from just these 3 little guys with afro hair!
Jimi was brought to the UK to make history, a legend taking off with what is recognized as the most innovative and exciting guitar-work ever seen and heard.
There was NO Stereo issue of this at the time, despite catalogue numbers suggesting otherwise. It wasn't until around 1979 when a Track lable stereo copy came out only to be withdrawn swiftly in favour of a Polydor double-issue partnering 'Axis, Bold As Love'.
Thus, MONO copies are the only actual originals (and Mono 'Electric Ladyland' is another, similar story!).
The vinyl is VG+ to VG++
Plays & sounds good, having some scuff and a light marks only. NO deep needle-scratches into the grooves.
The Lables grade VG+ to VG++ condition, showing spindle lines but no damage to the paper.
The laminated cover grades VG+ to VG++, flat and has a few small crinkles.
